Typically a two day to three day hands on workshop was conducted for the 2nd and higher semester students and architecture faculties.
SWAT workshops unlike any other seminars and lectures this workshop allows the student to make small scale hands-on space design and make presentations using different materials and medium in a short span of time through rigorous training and assistance by trained professionals who are practicing architects and teaching professionals.
The SWAT workshop has tutored nearly 1800 architecture students so far in various cities such as Chennai, Hyderabad, Hosur, Bangalore, Thrissur, Kollam and Bhopal both as a private workshops as well as co- curricular workshops in various schools of architecture. Our SWAT workshops were conducted in the Zonal NASA convention - Zone 2 in the month of September 2016 and COA - TRC Faculty development program in Kollam, Kerala in the month of August 2017.
SWAT Handmade presentation techniques workshop has collaborated with many well known practicing firms such as WeBe, Triple O Studio, Code- D Architects as well as stand alone private workshops.
Eventually SWAT had become a regular co-curricular workshop for many Architecture institutions such as CAAD - Chennai Academy of Architecture, CSA- Crescent School of Architecture, DOA - Department of Architecture- Adhiyamaan college of Engineering, Bishop Jerome School of Architecture, IES college of Architecture, Thrissur and so on.
